I polled my girls for some netflix fav's to help get me through this last bit of winter slump.
"I love a good laugh so my top Netflix picks right now are: 1. Jerry before Seinfeld - it's a combo documentary/stand-up piece and I'm a sucker for intelligent stand-up comedy; 2. Arrested Development is a classic, it's brilliant and I find new and subtle jokes in it every time I watch. I think this is one of the best series of all time; And this week I've gone back to 3. The Secret - I was really into this many years ago (bought the DVD) which is a documentary style description of The Law of Attraction, and it's resonating with me again and streaming on Netflix. I'm playing it on repeat in the background while I work.
"I typically subscribe solely to trashy reality television, like the Kardashians and the Bachelor, as well as real life crime shows, like Dateline NBC and 48 hours. Interesting mix, I know. I recently got into a new Netflix series called 'The Confession Tapes.' And now I. CAN'T. STOP. WATCHING. Basically, each episode covers a real case of someone falsely confessing to a crime they did not commit. I know it seems crazy, but you start to get why the accused admitted to something they didn't actually do. Curl up on the couch with some rosé and tune in this fall, you'll be sure to be mouthing WTF the whole time 😉 "
