We just love shining the spotlight on local movers, shakers and makers - we just can't get enough of the growing, thriving community that we are so lucky to be a part of. But..... These next two weeks we're turning the blog into an OCM feature - the past, present and future. So be sure to tune in daily for member posts where you'll learn a little more about the group of ten.

Where do we begin? How about how this collective of women all started.......I (Jocelyn) got a message on facebook from Karyn Kimberly. An invitation to a get together with 11 other woman to chat about ideas of this blog that was being formed. I was over the moon and happily accepted the invitation, not really know what I was getting myself into. I walked into the room and there were familiar faces and new faces. I was in awe of some of the beautiful humans I was in the presence of. The successful woman that sat around that table. I listened, engaged and enjoyed. I knew something magical here was about to unfold. fast forward 4 years and OCM is going strong. Our original 12 have shifted around, but the love is still there.  We can not help but celebrate the ones that have moved along and the ones that have joined.

We've had some real gems move onto new paths and pursue some pretty fabulous dreams. So where are they now you ask? Let's start from the very beginning. Roxanne is focusing on her mega amazing storefront, Tonic.  Next up is our girl, Tams. She's now focusing on ministry with her husband and photo biz, Meraki + Light.  Lisa Hallam made the jump in order to make more room for her ever growing list of brow babes and bridal clients. Two children and a fresh puppy, this girl is busy. The stylish and always sophisticated, Kim Davies made a move west to Vancouver with her partner and two totally adorable pups.  She's makin big moves folks.  Lisa Landrie, Mom of four runs a  popular photography business and helps in her husband's business ventures. Maygen our girl with the killer words and wardrobe has gone on to pursue her own solo blog ambitions. Include a toddler and another one on the way she'll be sure to keep her hands busy.

What's great about this sisterhood? Our mutual love and respect for each other. Our not so frequent as we would like meetings are more then just a meeting. They're a ground for unloading our heavy days and discussing our sometimes heavy lives, our current goals and passions and just being there for one another.  That girls can come and move forward in their journeys and that bond just doesn't break. We miss em, we love em, they're the OCM OG's.

What's new? Well, we included four new, fierce females to the roster and they bring SO much to the blog and to our group. Laughter, talent and some incredible ideas - They are the perfect fit for us and currently bring our group to 10. So without further adieu, please stay tuned over the next two weeks to learn more about our new members and originals to see where they're at.
We officially welcome our newest members Molly, Kassy, Tamarah and Holly and can't wait to see how the next year unfolds.
