Back to School with Banjo

Back to School with Banjo

As the mom of three boys, I am always shopping to find back to school clothing and accessories that are both stylish, as well as local to Saskatoon. It has often been a bit of a challenge to find a one stop shop where we can get everything we need, rather than running around for hours searching! This year we went to Banjo Outpost downtown and found everything we needed (and more)!

My son Ben is going into grade 8 and he's at that stage ofstarting to want clothes that are on trend, but it can be a struggle to find stylish clothing that actually fits him properly, as he is still growing!  Initially, I didn't think to bring him to a menswear store, as I assumed everything would be too big.  My son and I were very pleased to discover that Banjo carried all of the on trend brands in size small!

Ben and I met with Garrett and his wife Kelsi, my blog mate and friend, who are the owners of Banjo Outpost to style Ben for back to school.  Garrett acted as Ben's personal stylist, taking time to find out what he was looking for, what his personal style is, and what sizes he wears.

Garrett dressed Ben in a blue Publish Brand tee, layered under a grey Jack & Jones knit cardigan.  Joggers are especially on trend right now, so Ben was stoked to wear these black Fairplay pants, that show off his Stance socks and New Balance 574 sneaks.  The Herschel backpack was a must-have for Ben... and every other kid these days!  The accessories (Vitaly chain and Komono watch) really set his look off.  Of course, the Swell bottle was also necessary... according to my son ;)

From backpacks to accessories, clothes, shoes and everything in between, Banjo had us covered for everything back to school. Keep them in mind for your teens, as well as boyfriends and husbands.  They carry something for every guy at Banjo!  It was such a cool shopping experience, and Ben felt extra special being helped by Garrett to pick out his own style, rather than shopping in the 'little kid's section' of a store.

Banjo is located at 124 2nd Ave North in downtown Saskatoon. They also have an online store at banjooutpost.comUse the back to school code BTS20 to save 20% this week!
