Love vintage thrift shopping? Me, too! And so do Rosie & the Riveters. They have a theory with which I must agree - everybody needs a vintage red dress!
Have you heard of this band yet? They're four sassy dames from Saskatoon who perform uplifting music with a 1940’s flare, combining The Andrews Sisters’ vintage vocal treatment with Mahalia Jackson’s soul, the sweetness of The Good Lovelies, and the comedy of Lucille Ball. These ladies love vintage style and finding the perfect dress while out shopping with their friends, and that’s exactly what their brand new music video "Red Dress" is all about. Filmed at one of my favourite vintage clothing stores, Better Off Duds, the video gives a glimpse inside an off-the-wall shopping trip, with their humorous reactions to bad dresses, elation at finding good ones, and a transformation of a thrift store into a glamorous concert.

The ladies are on tour right now, and will return to Saskatchewan at the end of March with shows in Saskatoon, Regina, and more. Want to catch them next time they play your town? Check out their website and sign up for their email newsletter at their website.
Full disclosure: I'm honoured to work with Rosie & the Riveters as their publicist via Susan Busse PR.
