Baby DIY Project

LIS_6079.jpg

My friend and I had babies around the same time. Its such a great support system to have another new mom on your side. Us mommies decided to do a little DIY baby project on a budget.  The budget? Lets spend under $20 and make an adorable hand/foot memory. Challenge? Nope! This little project was soooo easy and soooooo cute. You can be as creative as you want or as simple as you need.

For this hand/foot memory project you will need:

1) Blank canvas prints:  Size depends on how large or small you'd like and there are various sizes available. I happened to find chunky 8 x 10 blank canvas prints at Dollarama for $2.50 each.

2) Non-Toxic stamp pad… Jaime found one at Micheals for $6.50. It went on easy and washed off great.

3) Cute adorable baby hands and feet. $Priceless really.

Its best to have a helping hand for this project. Babies are always kicking and moving… so we had a good laugh trying to get these little feet to sit still.   Have one mommy hold baby and one mommy can concentrate on getting the ink in all the right spots… then you can press each foot onto the canvas. Try practicing on a piece of paper beforehand. (we kept our practice sheets for the baby book, as they turned out great)

Viola…. What a cute memory to have.  All total spent? $18.16
