So if you didn't know already, I'm pregnant (due in Feb)!!!! I'm lucky enough to be going through this journey this time with a couple of my best friends (fellow blogmate Kelsi and my friend Maja)!! This is my second babe, and both of their first so I'm having so much fun offering advice and someone to chat to whenever they need it!  I mentioned to them that I was thinking about doing a blog post on some delicious "mocktails" (non-alcoholic cocktails incase anyone is wondering), and we all decided it would be fun to make a girls night out of it. So we gathered together and each brought a recipe and ingredients to concoct a drink we would all share over some pregnancy/birth/baby chit chat.  Maja even went ahead and ordered Tequila flavored syrup (margarita craving) from Amazon along with Champagne syrup to add to our mocktail night!

Tis the season for holiday parties (and pregnancy for some of us) and that often comes along with drinks!  Try out our recipes and find your new favorite to sip along with your friends at the next get together. You will hardly notice that your not drinking alcohol when you have something yummy for yourself!

Desiree's creation

Cranberry Moscow Mule (virgin)

Ingredients

  • Ginger beer (can be found at the grocery store)
  • limes (1/2 lime per drink)
  • cranberry juice
  • ice
  • Garnish (cranberries and a sprig of rosemary for this holiday version)

Start with some ice in a glass, add in ginger beer about half way up the glass or a bit more.  Squeeze half of a lime into the ginger beer and top with cranberry juice. Throw in some cranberries for garnish and a sprig of rosemary and Enjoy!

sidetone: me and my husband discovered our love for moscow mules about a year ago.  We ordered them a couple of times when we were out and then realized how easy they were to make at home!  After that we were on a roll and I was able to score this awesome classic moscow mule set.  I figured it only make sense for me to re-create this without the alochol, which honestly isn't even missed much! This recipe is delicous!
