Father's Day Gift Guide
I love this watch, which is why I wrapped it up for my little ones to give to their dad for Fathers Day. I had such a hard time picking just one, there are so many colours and styles that I would love to "borrow" for myself. This one just pop's with the wood grain detail and gold trim, I know he will wear it everyday, it's the perfect watch from Banjo Outpost!
My dad is a self-appointed 'funny guy,' so I usually like to mix a bit of humour in with his gifts, which is why I chose a MANdle (man-candle, get it?) by Eco Candle Co. These all natural soy candles have 'manly' smells like money, oil, grass, coffee, and many more. My personal favourite is 'The Carnivore' which really smells like smoked bacon. These MANdles also have quirky quotes (see picture above), which is another reason they are perfect for the dads who like to make dad-jokes. You can find MANdles at Banjo Outpost at 124 2nd Ave N. Saskatoon.
Bellroy is an Austrailian based wallet brand, designed specifically to slim your wallet and reduce your carbon footprint. They use vegetable tanned leather, and the least amount of material possible to keep your wallet nice and thin. My husband was on the search for years for a wallet like this! One that didn't weigh him down, wreck the pocket of his pants and have him sitting awkwardly with a bulging wallet on one side. This is a useful gift that is sure to have the father's in your life thanking you. Available at Banjo Outpost, 124 2nd Ave North, Saskatoon.
Celebrity dads all agree that a Ray-Ban aviator is the way to go. Whether it's on a square face like Brad's, a rounder one like Lenny Kravitz', or a heart shape like David Beckham's, this is a flattering frame with the right combination of angles and curves. Plus, it will make your dad feel a little like the "bad cop" he always meant to be.
The Ray-Ban Folding Aviator ($255, available at Spareparts) has that iconic shape beloved by celebs but this version folds in half at the bridge to conserve glove compartment space. And, let's face it, your dad loves gadgetry. These are bound to be a win.
